I was asked a question the other day that made me go back to my why. The question was “What breaks my heart?” My answer was broken women, women that do not know who they are or their worth in Christ. This is why I do what I am doing. I want God to fulfill the Kingdom dream He has given me, Gloriam Equestrian Center where God uses the healing of broken horses to heal broken women. The last few months of this internship at Li-Wa, I have been fervently praying about what God wants me to do next whether it be to stay at Li-Wa, do another horse related internship, or whatever He would have me do next. In these months God has been giving me this spirit of wanting to purge more of my stuff, a restlessness, a challenge to be able to carry everything I own. I thought He just wanted me to surrender my “stuff”, but He was preparing me for a much bigger purpose. Friday, October 19th, as I scrolled my FB feed-which I normally don’t do anyways- an add for an 11 month trip to 11 different countries came up. Intrigued, I clicked on it and as my excitement grew I felt God was telling me that this was the next step. I had two hesitations-one, raising money was something I did not really want to do, but God immediately gave me an overwhelming sense of peace that He would provide for me. Two, I wanted to agree wholeheartedly with the beliefs of this organization. As I read their belief statements, I was crying with the joy and overwhelming confirmation God was giving me. After prayer and counsel, and God’s confirmation, I sent in my application the next day, had the interview that next Monday, and was ACCEPTED that Wednesday. This all happened within five days, and I am still in wonder of God’s work and answer to prayer in my life in such a miraculous way! World Race-AIM- is an organization that seeks to reach the world through using godly young men and women to spread the joy and hope of Jesus ALL over the world! I am SO excited to be given this opportunity to serve Christ on this adventure! It is an 11 month trip in which we have to carry everything we own, brace all the adventures of being on the mission field, raise about 19 grand by building a community of prayer warriors and believers who want to see the Kingdom spread throughout the whole world starting August 2019. This cannot happen by my own work. God has to step in to many people’s lives to be able to take me to the ends of the earth.
This is not just a trip around the world, God is using this to change my perspective of surrendering all to Him and His work. He is using this to grow me in ways that I don’t even know the half of. I am beyond excited for this adventure He has called me to and be able to spread His kingdom to the ends of the earth!!! Are you willing to join the journey?
